Dint think i wud blog again but Manu v Roma was so inspiring and fun that i Juz had to .
First, the scenario :
Manu down 2-1 from the first leg and without paul scholes against a roma team that had only conceded 5 goals all competition & comin off Weekend loss @ portsmouth .United had never previously won a UEFA Champions League tie after trailing from the first leg . Not Quite the perfect scenario u wud imagine .
So , Kataben ?
Some Unbelievable football from Giggs , Ronaldo , Carrick & Rooney Made it 3-0 within 20 minutes .. As if that was not enough Ronaldo added another before halftime .. With the outcome a forgegone conclusion by now and thinkin this cud not possibly get any better i switched over to the simpsons .
So, Kataben ?
Missed another 10 minutes of brilliant play and another ronaldo goal :- . Manu not done yet tho .. Carrick with another brilliant goal to make it 6-0 in 60 minutes ... it was a measure of how fun the game was to watch that the 1 goal that roma did get was stunning as well . And if any further proof were needed that This was Man u ' s night and that everythin they tried was working , that was provided by evra's goal which wud prolly have gone out off the bar on most nights :)
Only dissapointment with the final score of 7-1 was that the average of a goal every 10 minutes was not achieved .
